Junior Trader - Focus on Equity Trading (m/f/d)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Trader with a specialization in equity trading to join our Treasury division in Hamburg. This full-time, permanent role offers an opportunity to engage deeply with capital markets within a dynamic and multi-faceted environment, interfacing between clients, banks, and global financial markets. The Treasury area covers money, foreign exchange, derivatives, equities, certificates, and fixed income trading. The successful candidate will take part in varied responsibilities, working collaboratively across departments to shape and advance our trading unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive comprehensive training in trading tasks and independently execute trading transactions with banks and clients.
• Actively participate in and drive future-oriented projects, process optimizations, and thematic developments.
• Utilize trading and information platforms professionally, including systems such as Bloomberg and Eurex.
• Collaborate and network with market and post-market departments to enhance cross-functional cooperation.
• Acquire and apply knowledge about legal and regulatory requirements relevant to trading activities.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial banking apprenticeship complemented by a bachelor's degree, preferably in economics or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of trading processes, along with a strong interest in capital markets.
• Solid analytical capabilities paired with effective communication skills and an independent working approach.
• High degree of responsibility and awareness of risks associated with trading activities.
• Enjoy working collaboratively in team settings and focused on achieving results.
