Job description
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a similar discipline. Preferred qualifications include B.Des, BFA, B.Sc. Multimedia, or equivalent diplomas. Candidates with a strong portfolio may be favored over those with degrees.
Professional Experience
A minimum of two years working professionally as a graphic designer is required. Experience in sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG, food and beverage, or other product-centric brands is highly desirable. Practical exposure to social media marketing creatives and advertising design is essential.
Software Proficiency
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is mandatory.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator is essential.
- Familiarity with Canva is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an advantage.
- Skills in After Effects or Premiere Pro are considered a plus.
Design Aptitudes
- Ability to create ad creatives for Facebook and Instagram.
- Design product posters and promotional banners.
- Develop e-commerce product visuals and website banners.
- Create festival-related creative content, offers, and campaign materials.
- Edit product photos, including background removal.
- Competency in typography, color selection, and maintaining brand consistency.
- Experience or understanding of packaging and label design processes.
