  • Translate approved designs and wireframes into working web pages with interactive navigation, forms, and buttons under senior developers' supervision.
  • Create layouts that adapt smoothly across desktops, tablets, and mobiles using CSS Flexbox, Grid, and other responsive techniques.
  • Conduct interface testing across various browsers and screen sizes, fixing layout and styling issues to ensure visual consistency.
  • Implement basic JavaScript logic for functionality and interactive elements, including form handling, events, and client-side validation.
  • Participate in component-based front-end development using React, Vue, Angular, or other frameworks, following project conventions and receiving mentorship feedback.
  • Identify and solve straightforward front-end bugs using developer tools, maintain documentation of code changes, and verify completed tasks against requirements.
  • Apply semantic HTML and basic accessibility practices to support keyboard navigation and ensure user-friendly interfaces.
  • Use Git version control for organized code collaboration, participate in pull requests and code reviews, and maintain accurate development task records.
  • Engage with the remote team through effective communication channels, participate in virtual meetings, reports progress regularly, and meet deadlines independently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent credential.
  • Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with responsive design principles.
  • Basic familiarity with browser developer tools and front-end code structure.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Motivated to learn new development techniques and frameworks.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
  • Reliable work ethics, professional demeanor, and access to stable internet and suitable remote workspace.

A formal computer science degree is not mandatory. Candidates may showcase their skills via personal projects, coding bootcamps, coursework, or self-directed learning.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience or knowledge of React, Vue, Angular frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub platforms.
  • Exposure to TypeScript and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and basic web accessibility standards.
  • Ability to use design tools such as Figma.
  • Awareness of website performance enhancement and front-end testing methods.
  • Experience with code editors like Visual Studio Code and Agile development principles.

Work Environment and Benefits

  • Fully remote work opportunity with flexible arrangements.
  • Competitive compensation appropriate for junior-level developers.
  • Paid onboarding and hands-on technical training.
  • Mentorship and regular code review sessions from experienced developers.
