About the Role
Sukhnandan Singh Construction seeks a diligent and knowledgeable Junior Engineer (Civil) to oversee and direct civil construction projects at various sites. The position requires robust expertise in civil engineering principles, construction execution, quality assurance, and effective site management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily civil construction operations and site activities.
- Ensure construction is performed according to approved designs, specifications, and project guidelines.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and laborers on site.
- Inspect construction materials and workmanship quality.
- Maintain site documentation including records, measurements, progress updates, and reports.
- Conduct site measurements and assist in preparing Measurement Books, bills, and quantity assessments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
- Track project progress and ensure work completion within schedule.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
- Enforce safety protocols and construction standards compliance.
- Verify quantities, cost estimates, and material needs.
- Keep accurate records of completed tasks and utilized materials.
- Communicate site progress and concerns to senior management promptly.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institute.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in civil construction and site supervision.
- Proficient understanding of civil construction methods, engineering drawings, measurements, and cost estimation.
- Experience managing contractors and workforce at construction locations.
- Capability to read and interpret civil and structural blueprints.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office is advantageous.
- Strong communication abilities, coordination skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Preparedness to work on-site as per project needs.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in site execution and supervision.
- Competence in quantity estimation and measurement.
- Knowledge of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and billing procedures.

Salary
The monthly compensation ranges between INR 25,000 and INR 27,000, negotiable depending on candidate experience and skill set.
