Role Overview
The Junior Architect will work full-time on-site in Vellore and assist senior designers throughout the architectural process. Responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed architectural and interior plans, producing 2D and 3D design documentation, coordinating with consultants, supporting site visits and measurements, and preparing presentations for clients. The role involves monitoring design changes, contributing to project coordination, and ensuring compliance with design standards and local building regulations. Collaboration with project teams to meet deadlines and active participation in design discussions are essential aspects of this position.
Desired Qualifications
- Solid grounding in architecture and architectural design, capable of converting ideas into precise plans and drawings.
- Basic knowledge of software development workflows and integration related to design tools, BIM processes, or digital modeling environments.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals, including prioritization, schedule management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Competence with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent, along with familiarity with visualization programs like Photoshop and Lumion.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a comparable professional credential, with lawful work eligibility in India.
- Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, adherence to design guidelines, and knowledge of building codes.
- Effective communication aptitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to function collaboratively both within the studio and at job sites.
- Prior experience through internships or junior roles in architectural or interior design is advantageous.
