Junior AI Engineer - Generative AI and Data Engineering (GCP/AWS/Databricks/Snowflake)

About the Role

Join Infosys as a Junior AI Engineer focusing on Generative AI and Data Engineering, located in Hyderabad. This full-time position involves developing advanced AI-driven solutions utilizing large language models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks. The role requires hands-on experience in building and optimizing AI and machine learning models tailored for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs and contemporary AI frameworks.
• Construct, test, and fine-tune AI and ML models aligned with business requirements.
• Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and transform large volumes of data efficiently.
• Utilize cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Databricks, and Snowflake to support AI workloads and infrastructure.
• Build and sustain Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and AI assistant functionalities.
• Create prompts and develop workflows and integrations for Generative AI applications.
• Collaborate effectively with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Participate in model deployment procedures, monitor system performance, and optimize AI models continuously.
• Apply Python and SQL programming alongside cloud-native technologies for data handling and modeling.
• Ensure compliance with data quality, security protocols, and governance standards throughout the AI and data engineering lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve technical issues concerning AI models, data infrastructure, and cloud environments promptly.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs, data engineering techniques, and cloud services.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in any specialization, Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or any graduate degree from a recognized institution.
