Junior Accountant

About the Role

MMC Convert is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their Indore office. This position is tailored for entry-level candidates eager to gain practical experience in routine accounting functions and develop expertise in financial data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and record daily accounting entries accurately.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing data, generating reports, and tracking financial information.
• Perform data entry within accounting software, preferably Tally.
• Keep financial records and relevant documents updated and organized.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and other fundamental accounting activities.
• Collaborate with senior accounting staff to support daily operational tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
• Open to fresh graduates with 0 to 1 year of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Organizational skills for managing financial data effectively.
• Preference for candidates with knowledge of Tally software.
• Experience or internship at a Chartered Accountancy firm is advantageous.
