Job description
Role and Responsibilities
- Generate and dispatch customer invoices corresponding to quotations, shipment particulars, and agreed commercial conditions.
- Confirm accuracy of freight, handling, documentation, customs, transportation, and related charges prior to invoicing.
- Maintain detailed customer outstanding payment statements and proactively chase overdue payments.
- Log customer payments and update payment records within the accounting software.
- Provide support in correcting billing errors and addressing customer inquiries.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Applicants who have experience in accounting fields related to the following logistics sectors will be favored:
- Freight Forwarding
- Shipping
- Customs Clearance
- CHA (Customs House Agent) Operations
- CFS (Container Freight Station) and Warehousing activities
