About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and highly organised individual to join the Auckland Northern Support team as a Judicial & Business Services Coordinator based at the Auckland District Court. This full-time, permanent position involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure effective functioning of District Courts across the Auckland region. The role covers a variety of areas including finance, event management, travel coordination, procurement activities, and juror summons administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out essential administrative duties to support judicial and business operations.
- Assisting with financial processes such as tracking expenses and processing invoices.
- Coordinating and managing events such as meetings, conferences, and workshops.
- Organising travel arrangements for staff and judicial officers, including booking flights, accommodation, and local transport.
- Supporting procurement tasks, including researching suppliers, gathering quotes, and processing purchase orders.
- Maintaining updated and accurate records, files, and databases.
- Preparing, distributing, and managing documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Overseeing fleet management responsibilities.
- Serving as a contact point for various internal and external stakeholders to provide information and assistance.
- Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience providing effective administrative support.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail resulting in accuracy across tasks.
- Proficiency with computers and competence in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High levels of discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity with finance, event coordination, travel arrangements, recruitment, or procurement processes is advantageous.
- Flexibility to manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
A valid New Zealand Driver's License is mandatory. Prior administrative experience within public sector settings and knowledge of related processes is considered beneficial.

Salary
The salary range for this position is between NZD 56,343 to 74,416 annually. The starting salary for successful applicants is likely to be in the band of NZD 65,443 to 68,855, depending on skills and previous experience.
