About the Role
We seek a seasoned Jira Product Discovery Administrator with 5 to 10 years of experience to oversee, configure, and enhance our product discovery platform. This position requires onsite presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an immediate joining date. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing Jira Product Discovery and Jira Software environments to effectively streamline product discovery through engineering delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and configure multiple Jira Product Discovery projects, including workflows, custom fields, scoring, and automation.
- Establish and enforce governance, permission schemes, and security controls for Jira platforms.
- Design and maintain product discovery lifecycle processes, prioritization frameworks, and stakeholder feedback integration.
- Create and manage product roadmaps, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility and progress tracking.
- Integrate Jira Product Discovery with Jira Software, ensuring traceability and alignment with engineering tasks.
- Drive continuous process improvements, adoption of best practices, and conduct user training sessions.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficient in Jira Product Discovery and Jira Software administration, including Atlassian Cloud environment.
- Experienced with Jira automation, dashboards, reporting, permission configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, roadmapping, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
- Technical capabilities in Jira REST APIs, Atlassian automation, basic SQL, and integration with DevOps tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and business analysis abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Atlassian Certified Professional, Atlassian Cloud Administration, or Certified Scrum Product Owner are advantageous.
Experience Requirements
- Total professional experience: between 5 and 12 years.
- At least 3 years dedicated to Jira administration.
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience specifically with Jira Product Discovery.
- Proven track record implementing product discovery frameworks across multiple teams.
- Strong background in Jira Cloud administration, automation, and integrations.
