About the Role
We are seeking a Java Technical Delivery Manager proficient in Mandarin to join our Singapore team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This position is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of Java-based technology projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, quality benchmarks, and schedule adherence. The successful candidate will manage project planning, execution, and delivery while collaborating with diverse technical teams, stakeholders, and Mandarin-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end delivery of Java technology solutions.
- Manage project timelines, scope, risk, and dependencies effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients, including Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
- Monitor development progress, resolve delivery challenges, and streamline processes for continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members and facilitate clear communication across stakeholders.
- Provide regular status updates and technical guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in program and project management, capable of leading complex Java solution delivery and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities to guide technical teams and engage clients and internal partners.
- Analytical capabilities for interpreting requirements, troubleshooting, and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Java technologies and associated frameworks, with hands-on experience across full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with multilingual stakeholders.
- Experience managing on-site delivery teams within technology or consulting sectors, preferably in Singapore or similar markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and competency with project tracking, documentation, and collaboration tools.
