Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and uphold Java applications employing Spring Boot and Gradle build tools.
• Design and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Integrate Java services seamlessly with multiple internal and external systems.
• Construct unit and integration tests applying JUnit and complementary testing frameworks.
• Utilize design patterns to produce scalable, maintainable, and clean code.
• Deploy and administer applications on OpenShift platform.
• Engage proactively in code reviews, delivering insightful and constructive critiques.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve production-level software issues promptly.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java Core 17 features and programming paradigms.
• Proficient experience with JUnit for unit and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience designing and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Capability to deploy and manage Java applications within OpenShift environments.
• Familiarity with Gradle build automation tooling.
