Role Summary
The role of Java IBM OpenPages Developer involves significant software development responsibilities focused on designing, building, and enhancing software applications within the fintech domain. Approximately 80-90% of your time will be dedicated to hands-on coding, utilizing modern tools including AI-assisted technologies, cloud platforms, and automation frameworks to create secure and scalable solutions.
Primary Duties
- Evaluate requirements to enable automatic updating of risk records in response to assessment changes.
- Develop triggers to ensure validation of lifecycle status transitions.
- Create helper classes to fetch associated child records and calculate relevant risk scores.
- Resolve production issues related to trigger failures during bulk data updates.
- Collaborate with QA teams to verify Java customizations during user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor deployment logs to facilitate smooth production releases.
- Produce comprehensive documentation detailing technical designs and customization specifics.
Required Expertise
- Minimum 5 years' overall experience, with 3 to 5+ years focused on IBM OpenPages, including customization tasks.
- Proficient in Java programming specifically within IBM OpenPages customization context.
- Hands-on experience developing triggers and helper classes, along with Java-based validations and automation.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and independently translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Strong skills in debugging and resolving complex issues.
- Familiarity and practical experience using AI-based tools and technologies in development workflows.
Work Environment & Culture
