Position Overview
This Java FullStack Developer role is based in Dubai, requiring a hybrid work arrangement with three days onsite per week. The position is a contract role supporting Infosys as a client.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to assess and analyze technical application requirements during design stages.
- Translate technical solutions for small to medium initiatives into detailed designs and implement working code.
- Independently develop secure, high-performance code adhering to client coding standards.
- Engage in rotational on-call duties, addressing production issues within defined SLAs with minimal supervision.
- Guarantee high-quality software delivery by embedding 100% unit testing integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and correct reported defects efficiently, minimizing rework.
- Adopt refactoring best practices to maintain low technical debt.
- Implement effective logging and monitoring within developed code.
- Stay updated with relevant technologies to continuously improve code quality.
- Follow client coding standards, guidelines, and contribute to engineering documentation and best practices.
- Design and develop software components within an enterprise environment, focusing on medium to large applications.
- Leverage technical expertise to resolve diverse issues promptly.
Competencies and Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies including unit testing, functional testing, and automated testing.
- Proficient in system design tools and concepts.
- Experience working within Agile software development frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with solid technical design capabilities.
