Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and sustain scalable cloud-native microservices utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces with React or Angular.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs facilitating communication between microservices and frontend components.
• Develop event-driven applications employing Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
• Produce high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Author unit and integration tests to guarantee application robustness and reliability.
• Identify, debug, and resolve software issues throughout development, testing, and production phases.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and cloud services for application deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA and DevOps Engineers, and other development teams.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts related to build, test, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Between three and seven years of practical experience in software development.
• Proficient in Java (latest versions) and strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience working with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and REST API creation.
• Skilled in frontend development using React or Angular frameworks.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience employing version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and effective communication skills.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
