Job Overview
We seek a skilled Java Developer to join our energetic team. The position involves leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance microservices-based applications within the JAVA ecosystem. You will work within an agile framework, focusing on products tailored for the Financial Industry and supporting financial supervisory roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions applying waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues using scripting and SQL query development.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and System Analysts for requirements gathering, test automation, and defect resolution.
- Partner with deployment and DevOps teams to establish continuous integration, build processes, and release automation.
- Provide production support and participate in after-hours support rotations.
- Participate in application deployment across various environments.
Candidate Profile
- Strong grasp and successful project completion using waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Proficient in Java and .NET development technologies.
- Experienced with automated software testing approaches including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Knowledgeable in packaging and build scripting tools such as MSBuild, Maven, and Docker.
- Skilled at diagnosing complex problems ranging from system-level resources to application stack traces.
- Experience implementing systems emphasizing high availability, superior performance, and strong security in data center or hybrid cloud deployments is advantageous.
