Overview
Cyber Space Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Java Developer based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada for a full-time onsite position. The role demands a seasoned professional with extensive Java programming proficiency and strong application development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Java-based software solutions.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring robust and reliable service communication.
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve software defects or performance bottlenecks.
- Engage closely with multi-disciplinary teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in testing to uphold code quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Java development with strong command over Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Expertise working with Java Collections Framework.
- Proficient in Spring Boot framework and building RESTful web services.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
- Exposure to Agile and Scrum software development practices.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools, specifically Jenkins.
