Job Overview

Anlage Infotech is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II specializing in JavaFX desktop applications to join their Bengaluru office. Candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience will work primarily on-site and engage directly in face-to-face interviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop desktop applications utilizing JavaFX and FXML technologies.
• Create interactive, responsive user interface screens and build reusable UI components.
• Integrate backend services by consuming RESTful APIs to ensure smooth application communication.
• Implement comprehensive business logic workflows and data validation mechanisms.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute within Agile development frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
• Practical experience developing with JavaFX, including working knowledge of FXML and using Scene Builder tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Basic understanding of integrating REST APIs and working with SQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MVVM architectural pattern.
• Ability to write unit tests using JUnit.
• Customization of JavaFX CSS for enhanced UI styling.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience developing engineering desktop applications, automation tools, dashboard interfaces, configuration management tools, code analysis utilities, or data reporting and visualization applications.
