Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer Lead based in Chennai to work onsite with a schedule of five days per week plus alternate Saturdays. The role requires over seven years of experience and demands leadership skills along with strong technical expertise in Java technologies within the Banking/BFSI sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable Java applications aligned with business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices leveraging Spring Boot framework.
• Provide mentorship to development teams through guidance and rigorous code reviews to uphold coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks and maintain system quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Java programming language, Spring Boot framework, and microservices architecture.
• Experience working within the Banking or BFSI domain is mandatory.
• Proven team leadership skills capable of directing and managing a development team effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) is required.

Work Conditions

This position entails working from the office in Chennai with a five-day workweek plus alternate Saturdays.
