Java Developer

Job Description

We are searching for a seasoned and proactive Java Developer to join our energetic team. The ideal applicant will possess substantial expertise in designing and implementing scalable enterprise-level applications, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures. You will be responsible for building reliable backend systems, integrating RESTful APIs, and upholding high coding standards through thorough testing and peer reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices frameworks.
• Develop and utilize RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless system integrations.
• Implement Web Client solutions for reactive and asynchronous data communication.
• Create comprehensive unit and integration tests employing JUnit and Mockito frameworks.
• Engage in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
• Work collaboratively within cross-functional agile teams.
• Conduct code reviews ensuring practices align with quality and industry standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong command over Java language and Spring Boot framework, including microservices design.
• Experience with recent Java versions.
• Hands-on experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Familiar with Web Client for reactive programming and asynchronous communications.
• Advanced knowledge of unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience operating with CI/CD tools, specifically GitLab CI.
• Ability to optimize application performance and diagnose production issues effectively.
• Understanding of asynchronous messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Exposure to AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, and Amazon Aurora.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.
• Basic understanding of frontend development technologies.
