About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices to develop, design, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The role demands a developer proficient in Java versions 8, 11, and 17, with a strong foundation in microservices architecture, REST API development, and cloud-native technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage enterprise-grade software solutions leveraging Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Design and implement microservices following industry standards for scalability and maintainability.
- Develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs with external systems.
- Work collaboratively with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
- Ensure services are secure, reliable, and reusable with comprehensive error handling and logging.
- Engage actively in code reviews, testing (unit and integration), and deployment processes.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly.
- Contribute in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning and task estimations.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Java 8, 11, or 17 programming languages.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience building microservices architecture.
- Skilled in designing RESTful web services and API development.
- Experience working with Hibernate/JPA and ORM technologies.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Spring Cloud components including Eureka, Config Server, Feign Client, and API Gateway.
- Experience using messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Competence with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of distributed systems, resilience patterns, and monitoring techniques.
Additional Advantages
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Background in industry domains such as banking, financial services, e-commerce, healthcare, or telecom.
- Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Framework, or cloud technologies.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Acceptable degrees include B.Sc, B.C.A, B.Tech, or B.E. in any specialization.
