Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 3 to 10 years of experience specializing in Java J2EE and SQL. The role requires hands-on skills in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot technologies, with working knowledge of MVC architecture, microservices, web services, and RESTful services considered advantageous. The candidate should also be experienced with Hibernate/JPA and have practical expertise with Java 8, including its new features.

Experience with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and Oracle DB is essential. The developer will work within a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline utilizing tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, and SVN. Familiarity with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence adds value.

Additional desirable skills include proficiency in Angular 8 or newer, multi-threaded programming, Agile methodologies, Unix/Linux environments, and banking domain knowledge. Java or J2EE certification is a plus.

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years’ experience in Java J2EE and SQL development
• Solid familiarity with Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks
• Knowledge of MVC, microservices, web services, RESTful APIs
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and Java 8 features
• Expertise in MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle database systems
• Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, SVN
• Understanding of Atlassian tools including JIRA, Confluence is beneficial
• Experience with Angular 8+ and multi-thread programming preferred
• Ability to operate within Agile development processes
• Background in banking domain is advantageous
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems is a plus
• Java/J2EE certification is desirable
