Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role requires a professional with 5 to 7 years of experience who can start immediately or within 30 days. The position is full-time and onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy robust, production-ready REST APIs and microservices.
  • Architect secure and scalable APIs, focusing on HTTP methods, request/response structures, and API security.
  • Manage both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including schema design and optimizing queries.
  • Deploy and maintain backend services on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • Proficient with Java versions 8 and 11, including Core Java concepts.
  • Experienced in Spring Boot framework.
  • Knowledgeable in Microservices architecture.
  • Familiar with Hibernate ORM.
  • Experience in building REST APIs and Web Services.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Experience integrating AI model inference within backend systems.
  • Knowledge of large language model (LLM) frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
