Java Backend Developer

We are currently seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices, working with asynchronous programming, database management, cloud services, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services leveraging Java 21, Spring Boot, and Vert.x frameworks.
• Develop scalable, dependable, and well-documented REST APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI standards.
• Implement asynchronous workflows and integrate backend services with both internal and external systems.
• Plan, build, and optimize MySQL databases, manage deployments, and oversee database administration on Amazon RDS.
• Containerize applications using Docker technology.
• Support automated build, testing, and deployment procedures via CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize Git and GitLab for version management, code sharing, and source control.
• Coordinate development tasks and project tracking with Jira software.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend systems across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Diagnose and resolve production-level issues to ensure system reliability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to facilitate integrations and address technical challenges.

Technical Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of professional experience in Java backend development or equivalent software engineering positions.
• Expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and microservice architectures.
• Proficient with Vert.x framework and asynchronous programming models.
• Deep understanding of backend application development, API structuring, and service integration strategies.
• Experience with MySQL database design, performance tuning, and platform management on Amazon RDS.
• Knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, and Jira in software development workflows.
• Ability to create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI tools.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and debugging production issues effectively.
• Capability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with team members.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving attitude.
