Role Overview
We are actively looking for a seasoned Java Architect to design and oversee the creation of scalable, secure, and robust enterprise-level software solutions. The ideal professional will have extensive experience in Java development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and contemporary software engineering principles. The candidate will work closely with both business and technical teams to define architecture, lead development groups, and guarantee the successful execution of projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive solution architecture for enterprise applications.
- Develop scalable applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices frameworks.
- Lead architectural assessments and establish best practices, standards, and governance protocols.
- Champion cloud-native application development on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Formulate API design strategies and integration models using RESTful services.
- Offer technical direction and mentoring to software development teams.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve complex technical challenges, and enhance application performance.
- Engage with business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical implementations.
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability standards.
- Promote DevOps practices, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and automation efforts.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in software development focusing on Java/J2EE ecosystems.
- Proficiency with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate frameworks.
- Practical experience in Microservices architecture and API development.
- Knowledge of leading cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong background with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong skills in stakeholder communication and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Certifications in TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technologies are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
