Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Cleaner to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality at our John Deere dealership. This position involves maintaining the neatness of all facility areas, including customer-facing spaces, offices, and employee common zones, and reporting any facility or maintenance issues to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent cleanliness throughout the dealership including customer and staff areas on a daily basis.
• Dust and clean office furnishings, printers, and other equipment.
• Maintain meeting rooms, kitchen/lunch areas, and common spaces in tidy condition.
• Clean and replenish washrooms with necessary supplies such as soap and paper products.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep, mop floors as required.
• Manage waste removal and keep garbage and recycling areas orderly.
• Perform detail cleaning tasks such as washing windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Support seasonal or periodic cleaning projects like entryway maintenance during adverse weather and deep cleans.
• Communicate building concerns, supply shortages, safety hazards, or damages to management promptly.
• Adopt safe use practices for cleaning products and equipment, including modern cleaning machinery.
• Operate respectfully within a functioning dealership environment where customers and employees are present.

Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity operating modern cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as business needs dictate.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is advantageous.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is CAD 18.00 to CAD 21.00 per hour.
