About ESFM and Position Overview

ESFM, the Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA and a member of the International WELL Building Institute, is offering a full-time janitorial position located at Nestle, 5001 Fayetteville Road, Fairburn, GA 30213. This role is fully remote in terms of application process, with varied working hours from Sunday to Saturday. ESFM delivers comprehensive facility management services emphasizing safety, health, and sustainability, servicing sectors like Life Science, Technology, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities through heavy cleaning including floor care, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.
• Collect trash and dispose of it using approved infection control and disposal methods.
• Dust and mop floors with damp techniques following proper procedures.
• Reposition furniture and equipment as needed to ensure thorough cleaning, then restore them to their designated places.
• Use assigned cleaning materials and equipment to sanitize all surfaces, executing an eight-step cleaning protocol.
• Thoroughly clean walls, windows, baseboards, and other fixtures to sustain a hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Proactively identify and attend to areas requiring cleaning without direct supervision.
• Perform all duties assigned by supervisors in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Carry out floor maintenance activities including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing floors, and carpet shampooing.
• Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining professionalism towards customers and colleagues.
• Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior janitorial experience with proven knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Experience in warehouse cleaning environments is essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks and work independently.
