Job Purpose

The primary goal is to ensure IT initiatives are strategically aligned and compliant with the company’s objectives by staying updated on technological advances and industry trends, refining current strategies, implementing robust governance, and encouraging teamwork across departments to enhance operational efficiency and business expansion.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operational Duties:

• Continuously analyze technology advancements, market dynamics, and industry developments to align them with the company's strategic goals.
• Perform thorough evaluations of existing IT strategies and initiatives to spot areas for enhancement.
• Guarantee that all IT projects and efforts support the company’s priorities and objectives.
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations in all IT-related activities.
• Ensure proper application and adherence to IT governance frameworks, guidelines, and policies.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to create an inclusive IT strategy, set clear goals and KPIs, and promote innovative digital projects that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Develop and update comprehensive guidelines and documentation detailing IT initiative implementation processes across the company.
• Track progress against IT project milestones to ensure timely completion and strategic alignment.
• Provide continuous support and direction to secure successful IT governance implementation.
• Assess IT initiatives comprehensively to measure performance and impact against KPIs.
• Review and suggest improvements for IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Effectively communicate IT strategies, priorities, and advancements to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ensure clear dissemination of IT governance frameworks and policies to relevant teams to foster compliance and understanding.
• Supervise IT systems, infrastructure, and operations to proactively manage potential issues or security risks.

Managerial Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of team members by setting performance goals, identifying training requirements, and assessing training effectiveness.
• Support and mentor direct reports to meet their objectives and perform tasks efficiently.
• Implement set policies and procedures related to IT strategy and procedure development.
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports on IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives to guide improvements.
• Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to review business progress, address challenges, discuss recommendations, and take necessary corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
