Overview
ByteDance's Procurement team strives to deliver top-quality purchasing solutions and develop a global procurement platform. By professionally managing supplier resources, selecting reliable providers, and overseeing supplier performance, the team enhances efficiency, cost control, compliance, and sustains a healthy long-term business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and integrate supplier resources in the IT sector, including software, hardware, and data services, aligned with global business demands.
- Build and leverage a comprehensive data-driven procurement analysis system to discover improvement opportunities in resource management and procurement processes, executing enhancements proactively.
- Detect and address issues throughout IT procurement and delivery cycles; devise and refine regional or global strategies for supplier sourcing, selection, and delivery oversight.
- Drive continual cost reduction by strategically planning supplier selection and negotiation while ensuring full procurement compliance.
- Manage supplier performance to guarantee timely project delivery and high service standards, fostering enduring, stable partnerships with quality suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in IT-related procurement fields such as software, hardware, or data services, including supplier management expertise and strong insights into the APAC market.
- Highly proactive with the capability to independently identify procurement challenges and advance project progress in IT procurement.
- Fluent Mandarin communication skills mandatory for collaboration with Mainland China-based internal stakeholders.
- International IT procurement experience in multinational firms and possession of related professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PMP) are advantageous.
