IT Network Operation Support Engineer

Job Overview

We seek a skilled IT Network Operation Support Engineer to contribute within a dynamic, high-efficiency operations team supporting extensive enterprise and service provider networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver continuous 24x7 network operations support including participating in on-call duty rotations.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate network issues across diverse multi-vendor infrastructures.
• Administer network configurations, execute upgrades, and lead incident management efforts.
• Monitor network performance indicators, analyze logs, and assess network health metrics.
• Support change management processes, validate Methods of Procedure (MOP), and handle service requests efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and promote operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess between 7 and over 10 years of pertinent experience in IP/MPLS and network operations.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS technologies.
• Experience working practically with multi-vendor network devices including Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, and F5 platforms.
• Familiarity with network automation tools and languages like Python, Ansible, and Netconf/YANG.
• Experience successfully managing complex network migrations and maintaining live production networks.
• Holds relevant networking certifications, including CCNP, CCIE, or their equivalents.

Engagement Details

• This is a full-time position intended for long-term engagement spanning multiple years.
• Operate within a 24x7 support framework.
• The role requires onsite presence at the Doha location, with flexibility to provide critical support as needed.
