Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned IT leader to oversee enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, security, service management, and governance of managed services within a complex hybrid technology environment. This role is designed for a strategic professional to lead multifaceted IT functions for a notable client.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct enterprise IT operations encompassing infrastructure, cloud, security, application management, and service delivery.
- Manage hybrid infrastructure environments including both cloud-based and on-premises platforms.
- Implement and supervise ITIL-based processes such as service delivery, incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Oversee managed service providers, ensure vendor performance meets SLAs, and drive initiatives aimed at operational excellence.
- Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and enhance operational resilience frameworks.
- Strengthen cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
- Champion adoption of DevOps methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Manage application operations including software development lifecycle (SDLC) governance, release management, and development demand coordination.
- Control operational budgets, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and technology investments prudently.
- Collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT services with organization goals.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Extensive experience managing large-scale IT infrastructures.
- Proficiency in hybrid cloud platforms, with preference for Microsoft Azure.
- Strong command of IT Service Management principles based on ITIL.
- Expertise in cybersecurity operations and compliance management.
- Experienced in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Skilled in disaster recovery planning and business continuity operations.
- Competence in vendor and managed service governance alongside SLA management.
- Knowledgeable in application operations and SDLC governance.
- Ability to lead budgeting and financial planning related to IT operations.
- Proven capabilities in enterprise IT strategy formulation and leadership.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years in IT operations and infrastructure management.
- At least 5 to 7 years in a senior leadership role within IT.
- Track record of handling enterprise hybrid technology environments and managing service ecosystems.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms, cloud technologies, and security operations.
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
- Cloud architecture related certifications
