Rukmini Devi Public School (RDPS) is currently inviting applications from qualified and experienced educators specialized in Information Technology for the role of IT Faculty based in Pitampura, Delhi.

Position Details

This is a full-time position with a preference for candidates residing nearby. Salary will be provided as per organizational norms.

Eligibility and Qualifications

• Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in Information Technology and computer applications.
• Previous experience teaching at the school level is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the school IT/computer science curriculum.
• Familiarity with assessment methods, lesson planning, worksheet preparation, and academic documentation.
• Capability to engage students effectively using technology-enabled teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and effective IT/Computer Science lessons to school students.
• Design lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and other teaching-learning materials.
• Manage and conduct practical lab sessions, ensuring optimal use of computer lab resources.
• Evaluate and track students' academic progress in the subject.
• Maintain academic records and complete all necessary school documentation.
• Participate actively in school activities, events, examinations, and related academic tasks.
• Assist students in developing digital literacy along with computational and problem-solving skills.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and educational best practices.

• Excellent communication and classroom management capabilities.
• Skillful integration of practical activities and digital tools within teaching.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced features.
• Solid understanding of programming and computational thinking concepts.
• Experience in designing and delivering case studies and knowledge on educational technologies and smart-classroom tools.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate AI and digital tools is an added advantage.
