IT Enterprise Architecture Lead

Role Summary

This role involves leading the development, upkeep, and implementation of the enterprise architecture framework at SIMAH. The position requires analyzing business and technology needs, evaluating technological solutions, and ensuring they align with architectural standards, digital transformation goals, and IT strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the creation and continual update of enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, standards, and technology roadmaps covering applications, infrastructure, data, security, and integration.
• Examine business and technical requirements and assist in designing architecture solutions that support both operational and strategic goals.
• Oversee reviews of proposed technology initiatives and projects to ensure they comply with established architecture standards and enterprise requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovation opportunities and make recommendations for adoption.
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts such as diagrams, standards, reference models, and documentation.
• Engage in architecture reviews and impact assessments for new technologies, systems, and upgrades.
• Lead integration planning to ensure smooth incorporation of new technology solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor adherence to enterprise architecture principles, identifying risks, deviations, or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with IT and business units to understand needs and ensure solutions support business objectives.
• Evaluate current technology environments to find improvement opportunities in scalability, efficiency, interoperability, and maintainability.
• Drive digital transformation and innovation efforts through architectural knowledge and technology suggestions.
• Prepare detailed architecture reports, analysis, and presentations to aid decision-making and technology planning.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in information technology or enterprise architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL 4 Managing Professional, COBIT 2019 Foundation, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are required.
