Position Overview
We seek an IT Administrator to support our IT Team administratively. This role offers a promising opportunity for a motivated professional to acquire specialized IT experience and advance their career within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts by creating, updating, and removing access on internal IT platforms.
- Administer external portal accounts ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate the procurement and allocation of software licenses.
- Maintain and update the IT Asset Database, assigning equipment to personnel using a dedicated tracking system.
- Provide assistance to the IT Technician team as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous related duties as required.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths, IT, and English at grade C or equivalent.
- Extensive practical experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong numerical proficiency and administrative capability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to manage and organize information efficiently.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and flexible approach.
- Resilience and capability to perform under pressure.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident telephone communication abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an IT Administrator role is advantageous.
Salary and Working Hours
- Annual salary: £26,500.
- Standard working schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
