About Global Payment
The Global Payment team at ByteDance delivers comprehensive payment solutions encompassing payment acquisition, disbursement, transaction tracking, payment method administration, foreign exchange conversions, accounting, and reconciliation. Our goal is to provide users with seamless and secure payment experiences across ByteDance platforms such as TikTok.
Within the Global Payment Web and Client team, we focus on creating highly integrated payment products that interface smoothly with Web, App, cross-platform applications, and other Global Payment functionalities. Our service offerings extend to Developers, Merchants, and other stakeholders via a variety of platforms.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop modular and reusable components and functionalities.
- Prioritize rendering performance to maintain smooth interactions on a high-activity platform.
- Enhance mobile design and development workflows to boost quality and efficiency.
- Optimize code to improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance of mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with product design, management, and engineering teams to deliver superior user experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with experience in iOS development.
- Proficient in Objective-C or Swift for iOS platforms.
- Strong skills in understanding and debugging large, complex codebases.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale internet companies.
- Payment industry knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
