iOS Engineer (Exclusively for Qatari Nationals)

Role Overview

Join us as an iOS Engineer contributing to innovative mobile product development with a focus on native iOS applications. This position involves hands-on creation of new functionalities, active participation in technical backlog planning within product teams, and working collaboratively with peers in a scrum-driven environment. Daily communication will be conducted in English.

Project & Team Details

• The current version of the app began development from scratch in Q3 2021, employing a modern technology stack.
• The entire code base is developed 100% in Swift.
• Minimum supported iOS version is 14, with regular updates ensuring modern baseline standards.
• The project architecture is modular, coordinated through Tuist.
• Ongoing experimentation with Swift UI to enhance user interface experiences.
• Development process follows trunk-based development methodology.
• Exploration of new technologies, including Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features within product teams.
• Contribute to technical planning and backlog refinement meetings.
• Operate within an agile, scrum-inspired workflow, incorporating feedback continuously.
• Communicate technical ideas fluently in English on a daily basis.
• Deliver measurable impact to product development initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years of experience in native iOS development utilizing Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Solid grasp of core Swift and Objective-C concepts, including data structures, multithreading, and memory management.
• Proficient in constructing pixel-perfect custom user interface views.
• Understanding of Clean Architecture principles for maintainable code bases.
• Familiarity with HTTP protocol usages and behaviors.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically git.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns.
• Intermediate proficiency in English sufficient for technical communication and documentation.

Advantages

• Knowledge of VIPER architectural pattern.
• Hands-on experience with networking libraries such as Moya and Alamofire.
