Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer with 5 to 8 years of expertise to design, build, and maintain high-performing iOS applications. This role demands proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, and a solid understanding of mobile application development focused on user experience, scalability, and robustness.
Key Duties
- Create, test, and maintain iOS apps using Swift and UIKit or SwiftUI frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with product teams, designers, and backend developers to develop quality mobile solutions.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and external libraries or services into applications.
- Improve application responsiveness, performance, and security aspects.
- Produce clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to coding standards.
- Engage in code review processes, debug, troubleshoot, and tune performance.
- Ensure all applications are compliant with Apple App Store policies.
- Participate actively in Agile and Scrum methodologies including sprint planning and delivery.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Strong command over Swift and preferably Objective-C.
- Expert knowledge of iOS SDK, UIKit, and/or SwiftUI frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, and associated iOS development tools.
- Solid grasp of architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
- Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON, and managing networking frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Core Data, SQLite, UserDefaults, and data persistence mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and general versioning best practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of mobile security, memory management, and performance optimization techniques.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Firebase suite including Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications.
- Testing expertise using XCTest, unit testing, and UI testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with dependency managers such as CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, or Carthage.
- Some exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Track record of publishing apps on Apple App Store.
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
