• The position is full-time and based onsite in Dubai, with expected travel to Europe.

Role Overview

The associate will support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) execution at the portfolio level. Key activities include challenging valuations, structuring deals, coordinating financial due diligence, and aiding negotiations with counterparties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing M&A transactions involving portfolio companies, including valuation challenges, deal structuring, coordinating financial due diligence, and supporting negotiation efforts.
• Lead diligence on direct and seed-stage investment opportunities by preparing investment committee memoranda, building valuation models, and drafting recommendation papers across sectors such as media, consumer, financial services, and technology.
• Build and manage financial models including full three-statement forecasts, multi-entity consolidations, cash flow and return analyses, as well as customized revenue models for innovative commercial structures.
• Develop investment theses, financial models, and screening frameworks for new sector-specific investment vehicles, taking projects from concept through to ready-for-launch stages.
• Collaborate directly with portfolio company leadership on commercial strategies, market and category research, brand positioning, and turnaround initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within the Technology and Media sectors.
• Between 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital.
• Proven track record in completing deal executions specifically within Europe.
• Preferably experience working in or alongside family office environments.
