Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Investment Analyst to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely. The role requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours weekly with a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $154 to $210. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing financial models, performing rigorous investment analyses, and collaborating with teams on AI-driven financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain intricate financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and valuation frameworks to underpin investment approaches.
Execute thorough financial and investment analysis to evaluate business opportunities and potential risks to aid strategic decisions.
Generate detailed and punctual financial reports, forecasts, and presentations intended for stakeholders to support strategic discussions.
Analyze extensive datasets to extract meaningful insights that assist capital market and investment decision-making processes.
Keep abreast of market trends, financial developments, and advancements in fintech to continually enhance investment strategies.
Work alongside cross-disciplinary teams to bolster AI-driven financial projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
Proven experience in financial or investment analysis or capital markets, with at least 36 months of relevant expertise.
Advanced skills in Excel, particularly for financial modeling and data evaluation.
Strong command of valuation methodologies including DCF, LBO, and forecasting techniques.
Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in preparing and delivering comprehensive financial reports.
