Job Overview
We're seeking an Inventory Executive responsible for managing daily inventory tasks to support the inventory team leader and store operations. This role involves receiving stock materials, equipment, supplies, and merchandise while maintaining detailed records of quantities and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the complete stock database accurately.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of received inventory, confirming items are sale-ready and reporting any discrepancies.
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for incoming merchandise and validate them against Local Purchase Orders (LPO) and invoices.
- Review suppliers' invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Create PRET and LTI documents upon merchandising team requests related to floor items.
- Separately manage Brand Promise products and hand them to the Brand Promise Officer.
- Update and forward the purchase return report weekly to the Merchandising team.
- Ensure all displayed items are authorized by the Store Manager and properly recorded in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Oversee High-Value Stock (HVS) activities and maintain the inventory log book accordingly.
- Count, sort, and verify incoming merchandise, cross-checking with requisitions or invoices.
- Support Inventory team with SNP report preparation and conduct perpetual inventory (PI) counts along with annual stock taking.
- Manage and organize the stock room efficiently.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and punctuality.
- Ensure compliance with checklists and store processes, including staff discount policy and store opening/closing procedures.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in Inventory or Warehouse Management.
- Preferably holds a graduate degree.
- Professional certifications in Retail Management are desirable.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
