- Provide ongoing support and guidance to document controllers throughout the organisation, including onboarding new team members.
- Conduct quality control activities including proofreading, cross-referencing, and format verification to ensure documents are precise, compliant, and consistent.
- Assist the Quality and Safety Systems (QSS) department by supporting stakeholder meetings, delivering training sessions, and performing related administrative duties.
- Troubleshoot and resolve document management system issues while helping to maintain global standards for MAF programmes.
- Attend weekly team meetings outside usual business hours as required.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational skills focused on generating high-quality, accurate, and compliant documentation.
- Prior experience in document control, editing, or publishing, particularly involving technical manuals, policies, or controlled documents.
- Proficient with various editing software, knowledgeable in version control, and the distribution of controlled documents.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards relevant to aviation, safety, or organisational documentation.
- Excellent communication skills suited for collaborative work across multiple countries and across different time zones.
- A proactive team player capable of mentoring colleagues, offering guidance, and stepping up to various roles when needed.
Additional Information
- The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in Australia.
- Employment is conditional upon passing pre-employment background checks, including a National Criminal History check.
- Adherence to MAF’s purpose, vision, and core values is a fundamental condition of employment.
- Applications close on Sunday 6th September 2026.
