Job Overview
The Internal Communication Specialist will develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies and engagement programs that support the organisation’s business goals, culture, and strategic priorities. This role involves facilitating executive communications, advancing employee engagement, fostering organisational cohesion, and managing change through compelling copywriting and clear messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver an annual internal communications strategy aligned with the company’s objectives, values, and culture.
- Support creation of messaging frameworks and coordinate internal campaigns to maintain consistent corporate messaging throughout the organisation.
- Assess communication requirements and craft appropriate approaches to maximize engagement across various departments and subsidiaries.
- Prepare and refine internal communications content such as newsletters, emails, intranet articles, speeches, and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee internal communication platforms including intranet portals, newsletters, bulletin boards, email lists, and digital signage.
- Ensure all internal communications strictly adhere to corporate editorial policies, brand guidelines, and approval workflows.
- Assist with communication efforts for internal events like town halls, leadership briefings, employee forums, and engagement initiatives.
- Take charge of announcing company achievements and milestones internally to ensure coherence with external communications.
- Continuously research and implement new digital tools and platforms to optimize internal communications aligned with industry best practices.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a communication-related field, with a background in creative writing, marketing, or event activation.
- Have between five and eight years of pertinent experience within a Corporate Communications setting, either in-house or agency-side.
