Internal Auditor

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for two Internal Auditor roles within a confidential government entity based in Doha, Qatar. The positions available are for a Financial & Operational Auditor and a Technology & Cybersecurity Auditor. Both roles involve designing and conducting risk-based audits, evaluating internal control systems, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations, and offering practical recommendations to improve governance, efficiency, and risk management. The roles require collaboration with leadership and other stakeholders throughout the organization to enhance accountability, transparency, and promote ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Candidates will be expected to plan and execute audit engagements related to their specialization, analyze control environments, assess compliance, and compile clear audit reports with actionable insights. The positions necessitate professional integrity, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and capability to handle multiple audits simultaneously.

Financial & Operational Auditor Requirements

This role demands significant experience in financial and operational auditing, familiarity with internal audit standards, governance principles, risk management, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks. Candidates must hold relevant professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CA.

Technology & Cybersecurity Auditor Requirements

Applicants must have robust experience in IT and cybersecurity audits, with deep knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity standards, information security controls, and managing technology risks. Obtaining certifications like CISA or CISM is essential.
