Internal Auditor

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Auditor to join the Shared Services Internal Audit team within a group company. This role involves assisting Senior Auditors and Supervisors in conducting various audits including financial, operational, and compliance audits across different entities of the group. The position offers significant exposure to internal controls, risk management, and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing audits covering financial, operational, and compliance aspects across group companies.
• Conduct audit fieldwork, including testing and documentation, under guidance.
• Prepare detailed working papers and aid in drafting audit findings and observations.
• Help identify control weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement.
• Support the tracking of audit findings and implementation of management action plans.
• Ensure audit documentation aligns with internal audit standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related discipline.
• Have between zero and two years of relevant experience.
• Basic familiarity with internal controls, auditing principles, and finance is expected.
• Progress toward professional certifications such as CIA, SOCPA, ACCA, or CPA will be considered an advantage.

Skills

• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English are mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with good organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
