Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Internal Auditor with 2 to 3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory, or similar assurance functions. Candidates should display strong analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude with a solid foundational understanding of risk management and internal controls. The role involves working effectively within a team structure. Preference will be given to those with prior Big 4 accounting or advisory firm experience and Saudi nationals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of internal audit assignments aligned to the approved audit plan and methodology.
• Engage in audit planning processes including comprehending operations, risk evaluation, and walkthroughs.
• Conduct audit testing, documenting procedures, findings, and conclusions accurately.
• Prepare audit working papers compliant with Internal Audit guidelines.
• Identify and report control weaknesses, procedural gaps, and opportunities for process enhancements.
• Assist in assembling audit reports and presentation content.
• Evaluate the sufficiency and functionality of internal controls.
• Verify adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate tracking and confirmation of management's corrective action plans.
• Maintain a questioning mindset and impartiality throughout audit activities.
• Keep abreast of updates to Internal Audit standards, sector trends, and emerging risks.
• Promote continuous learning and proactive improvements.
• Collaborate closely with audit colleagues to ensure high-caliber audit deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with process owners and relevant stakeholders during engagements.
• Foster knowledge sharing and contribute to team goals.
• Uphold ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality rigorously.
• Encourage a cooperative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Two to three years of pertinent experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory, or connected areas.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting or advisory firm is an advantage.
• Basic grasp of risk-based auditing methods and internal control frameworks.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and audit software considered a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred but not mandatory.
• Preference for Saudi nationals.
