Intermediate Architectural Technologist

Overview

Republic Architecture Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist skilled in Revit and BIM to join their expanding team. This role involves contributing to a variety of complex and engaging construction projects, collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, technologists, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality construction documentation for complex and diverse projects within Republic Architecture.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including architects and interior designers.
• Engage in all phases of the building design process, from initial concept through design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop detailed Revit models and construction documents adhering to Republic and client BIM standards.
• Identify and resolve technical building challenges throughout projects.
• Handle various project types across Canada, working with multiple clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in architectural or engineering technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong proficiency with Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
• Sound understanding of construction drawings and building science with the ability to address detailing challenges effectively.
• Experience in mechanical systems is an advantageous asset.
