Role Summary
We are looking to hire a motivated and detail-focused Intermediate Accountant to join our compliance team. This position suits accounting professionals with experience in financial reporting, regulatory adherence, and internal controls who seek to advance their career in a nurturing and professional workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse client portfolio across multiple industries, ensuring work is completed efficiently, adhering to technical standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities including companies, trusts, estates, partnerships, and individual businesses.
- Conduct annual account reviews and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service delivery.
- Prepare other compliance-related returns as necessary.
- Maintain communication and collaborate with the Inland Revenue Department and other regulatory agencies.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Have 2 to 4 years of pertinent experience in accounting or compliance roles.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of accounting standards and financial control procedures.
- Experience using accounting software alongside proficient skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Possess sound analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
- Holding or progressing towards a professional accounting qualification is considered an advantage.
