Job description
Role Overview
We seek a driven and client-focused Modular Kitchen Designer and Sales Consultant to work as an authorized Livspace dealership partner. Your core responsibilities involve engaging customers end to end—from initiating contact, understanding their specific needs, creating tailored modular kitchen designs using 2D and 3D software, to securing project approvals and sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations with homeowners to grasp their lifestyle, cooking preferences, storage requirements, and budget constraints, presenting Livspace modular kitchen solutions accordingly.
- Proactively generate leads by contacting warm prospects, architects, new property owners, and database contacts to set up design consultations.
- Create space layouts, elevations, and 3D rendering of modular kitchens leveraging CAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Livspace Canvas software.
- Advise clients on choosing materials, finishes (such as acrylic, laminate, PU, membrane), hardware, and carcass types based on Livspace catalogs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate modular kitchen quotations and bills of quantity (BOQs), handle negotiations and objections, and finalize sales through design sign-off and advance payments.
- Oversee site measurement coordination to verify design feasibility prior to ordering production units.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Academic credentials including a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent hands-on experience in modular interiors.
- Proficient use of design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or specialist platforms like Livspace Canvas is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of modular kitchen designs, including L-shape, U-shape, parallel, and island layouts, along with an understanding of ergonomic principles, carcass dimensions, and hardware systems.
Operational and Sales Growth Focus
- Master sales messaging highlighting advantages of branded modular kitchens, including factory finish quality, decade-long warranties, anti-bubble technologies, and premium hardware like Blum or Hettich versus traditional carpentry.
- Implement lead generation and localized marketing tactics targeting architects, interior designers, developers, and homeowners through Google Business, WhatsApp, and showroom events.
- Apply objection management techniques addressing price concerns, customization options, delivery schedules, and competitor comparisons.
- Utilize detailed quotation frameworks demystifying materials (MDF, HDF, BWR ply, HDHMR), shutter finishes (laminate, acrylic, PU, glass), and accessory selections.
