This internship offers hands-on experience in creative interior design practices focusing on luxury residential and commercial spaces. Interns will be involved in conceptualizing innovative interior themes, preparing detailed presentations, and selecting suitable materials and decorations that complement client visions and brand identities. The role emphasizes the blend of aesthetic appeal and practical usability, requiring interns to engage closely with various design and project teams to produce accurate drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations. Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and managing multiple design projects efficiently within deadlines are key aspects of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

Develop original interior design concepts reflecting client goals and brand personality using sketches, storyboards, and digital tools.
Present creative ideas through detailed proposals aimed at effectively communicating design vision and spatial intentions to clients and stakeholders.
Choose materials, furnishings, lighting, and decor elements that enhance design themes and create immersive interiors.
Refine design details continuously to maintain stylistic and thematic cohesion across spaces.
Research and integrate current global design trends and materials to add innovative insights to projects.
Collaborate with 3D visualizers, architects, engineers, and procurement teams to convert creative concepts into technical drawings and visual representations.
Ensure designs achieve a balance between visual elegance and functionality tailored to client needs.
Manage the workflow for multiple projects, adhering to timelines, milestones, and feedback loops.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be available to work remotely and adhere to the working hours of 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time.
Availability to commence the internship between September 12, 2026, and October 17, 2026.
Commitment to the full 6-month duration of the internship.
Relevant skills and genuine interest in interior design must be demonstrated.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is mandatory.
Proven capability in developing innovative design concepts with strong storytelling and ideation skills.
Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and 3ds Max for visualization and presentation purposes.
Exceptional design sensibility, creative problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and understanding of spatial composition, form, and color theory.
Comprehensive knowledge of space planning, material characteristics, lighting effects, textures, and styling techniques to support conceptual designs.
Competence in managing multiple design projects effectively under strict deadlines with flexibility and adaptability.
Excellent communication skills for articulating creative ideas both visually and verbally to clients and team members.
Basic technical knowledge of construction processes and site coordination with an eye toward practical design feasibility.

Compensation and Perks

The internship is stipend-supported, offering INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 monthly. Successful interns may receive a job offer upon completion.
