SCDA is a global design practice blending Architecture, Interiors, and Landscape to craft integrated spatial experiences. With bases in Singapore, Shanghai, Manila, and New York City, the firm undertakes projects in over 80 locations worldwide across Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, and North America. The in-house SCDA Lab drives social and cultural initiatives, focusing on research and design to promote environmental progress.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proficient Interior 3D Visualiser to join our Singapore office. The ideal candidate will have a keen aesthetic for interior spaces, materials, and ambient atmosphere, and excel at converting design concepts into polished visual presentations. This position is ideal for someone passionate about interior visualization, lighting, and image creation craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed and refined interior renderings at various design stages to aid design communication and presentations.
- Interpret interior design intentions into vivid and atmospheric visuals focusing on lighting, materials, and spatial quality.
- Construct and detail 3D interior scenes including furniture, textures, and styling elements.
- Work closely with interior designers to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and material choices into accurate and expressive imagery.
- Deliver still images and visual studies that communicate spatial and design concepts clearly.
- Enhance and finalize visuals using post-production techniques in Adobe Photoshop.
- Ensure all visual materials maintain a consistent standard aligned with SCDA’s design ethos.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's Degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related disciplines.
- Possess 3 to 5+ years of professional experience specializing in interior visualization.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing high-quality interior renderings, particularly for residential or hospitality settings.
Technical Skills
- Expert-level skills in 3ds Max for modelling and rendering workflows.
- Proficient in using Corona Renderer for interior visualizations.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop for image refinement and post-processing.
- Bonus: Familiarity with real-time rendering tools such as D5 Render.
- Bonus: Knowledge of SketchUp for model coordination and integration.
- Bonus: Experience with AI visualization tools like Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and Photoshop AI features for workflow optimisation and iterations.
Design & Collaboration Skills
- Solid grasp of interior lighting, material textures, composition, and spatial ambiance.
- Detail-oriented with sensitivity to proportion and interior décor.
- Strong ability to translate interior design visions into compelling visual stories.
- Capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic studio environment.
